Spz Chaote & Kaos Koas ☂ Chapel Perilous

I dont post lyrical Hip-Hop very often, mostly because I’m extremely picky with my Hip-Hop preferences and I would feel like a complete tool if I posted something I didnt actually dig. In the case of Spz Chaote I was immediately drawn to the pseudonym because “Space Coyote” is a deeeeep Simpsons joke.. ALSO Space Coyote was the name of a short-lived psychedelic grunge band that I formed whilst in high school.
Spz Chaote is a lyricist from the Austin Texas) and Kaos Koas is a badass electronic producer from Finland, Kaos Magicka is a collaborative esoteric Hip-Hop album made by the 2 artists with an entire ocean between them.
The lyrics on this record are nothing short of esoteric gold, it really is stunning how much imagery, symbolism, mythology, theories and philosophical concepts are packed into EVERY track on this cd. At times I can grow weary of Spz Chaote’s monotone flow as it slightly reminds me of Mike Shinoda(if you dont know who that is… whatever) but it really is ONLY his tone and inflection, the lyrics are stellar and Kaos Koas’ beats; incredible.
All love and admiration aside, even the almighty MC Ride has yet to pack this amount of mind-blowing lyrical subject matter into an album. 
Listening to Kaos Magicka makes me wonder whether Spz Chaote just locks himself in a room with mountains of books for months on end.
I would love to hear this duo make another album so I can see just how much ability for growth they can exhibit but it really is quite an achievement that they created(let alone recorded) the 13 track juggernaut that is Kaos Magicka.
