Seluah ☂ The Other Side of the Gun

Kentucky’s Seluah is an mellow little monster; they take psychedelic doom inspired rock and spice it up with infectious grooves and sprawling instrumentation. Their most recent release(their first in about ten years) entitled Red Parole is a vast dusty canyon full of bodies of dirty water and stern poetic doom. This album’s slow burning groove is just what the doctor ordered as the sun POUNDS down on Denver this past week. Give this awesome track a listen and if you dig it check out the rest of Red Parole and buy it.
Doom fans will enjoy this but be warned it doesnt pack quite the sludgy heavy punch of the Doom metal I normally post..
I’ll admit at times I wish Seluah would just break into some massive cosmically heavy doom riffs sometimes.. Their ear for melody is fantastic and thats all it really takes to make an amazing stoner metal riff that withstands the test of time.
